In the hospitality world, EIH Hotels wanted to provide free Wi-Fi not of substandard service and the cost being extremely low to render as free service. The leading hospitality conglomerate removed multiple localized service providers and developed Global HSIA (High Speed Internet Access) System - an indigenous cloud based single solution for all its PAN India properties. India’s largest operator deployed burstable shared common bandwidth pool and achieved this business objective to delight the guests with lesser pay out than in the past and 10 times higher bandwidth pipes for better connectivity providing free connectivity to guests and also Pan India roaming for premium belvedere guests. The platform is delivering personalized pages and content to guests based on their Geo location with built in security to manage and monitor all connect at a central NOC for rogue device, network snooping, L2 Isolation etcetera. Scalability of delivering 1MB to 1GB bandwidth per hotel at tap of a button at each hotel including remotest of the location in India was achieved. Enhanced Guest experience due to internet service has enhanced company’s overall NPS. The agility and scalability offers instant solution to large events and conferences without hassle of checking with IT or service provider. Improved guest satisfaction especially amongst foreign tourists having basic tier free of cost service has made EIH hotels a preferred choice among international travelers.
